story:
he first trailer for Peter Jackson’s
The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug has been released and a lot of people are
getting hyped and excited for the next adventures of Bilbo Baggins and the
hobbits. There’s not that much hobbits in the first trailer for the part two of
Peter Jackson’s epic J.R.R Tolkien adaptation. Instead, there are a
variety of beasties and a very bad-tempered looking dragon which is called
Smaug. The trailer was introduced online on June 11 which also states that the
movie will be released on December 13. The trailer left the audience goose
bumps as to what they saw in a two-minute jam-packed teaser trailer. It’s got
more action; a whole lot of action actually, there’s going to be
an incredibly heavy use of CGI and also get ready for another stretch of
48fps. The trailer also reveals new characters like Tauriel and Bard the
Bowman. Legolas was also seen in the trailer. There’s also a great view of
The Lonely Mountain and the Lake Town in the trailer.
The Hobbit trilogy is based on J.R.R
Tolkien’s predecessor novel to The Lord of the Rings. The Hobbit: The Desolation
of Smaug picks back up with Bilbo Baggins; the plucky hobbit, Thorin
Oakenshield; the dwarf warrior who is hard-edged, the all time fan-favorite
Gandalf the Grey; the shabby, yet gallant and courageous wizard, and their
merry band of brave dwarven companions, following their great escape from the
underground kingdom of the Goblin King and their near-death experience at
the (remaining) hand of Azog the Defiler or also known as The White Orc. The
most dangerous of them all, however, still lies ahead – in the form of a
dragon. The will come across the fearsome beasty Smaug awaiting in the treasure
room at Erebor, the Lonely Mountain.A lot of fans, however, are really
excited about the dragon Smaug. What he looks like and how he talks. The sneak
peek of the dragon kept the audience hung up to what he really looks like.
Smaug is voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch, but it is doubtful that they will
reveal the dragon in full throughout the marketing campaign for the second
Hobbit film. The trailer does just about that, it is keeping the creature in
the shadows and voice-less so that fans can really get excited.People have
been talking about how Legolas was featured in the trailer, which means that he
is part of the movie. In the book version, Legolas wasn’t there. But I
think that it will make the people who haven’t read the books yet interested in
the movie. Legolas IS a popular character He is not alone in this
film, though. He is accompanied by Tauriel, who is a newly invented character.
There aren’t any sources yet about what Tauriel’s background story is, but
we’re pretty sure she is going to be an awesome character. Also shown in the
trailer is Bard the Bowman. Although he doesn’t have much to do in the
trailer, we’ll give him time. Thranduil, who was also in the first movie, was
also seen and heard narrating in the trailer.
